The role.
The Group Search Strategist sits within our Search team, you will report directly into the Head of Search strategy and line manage those within your group. The team is made up of Trainees, Search Executives, Consultants, Senior and Principal Search Strategists.
The role is split into two parts of line management and strategic work.
As a line manager you will allocate time for your team, with regular check-ins, supporting the team with progression and delegating tasks.
As a Strategist you will analyse results and data trends, generate presentations for clients with clear actionable insights. You will prepare for and lead meetings, representing your team and the SEO service to clients. In this role you will work closely with the other search teams, alongside the wider agency such as Client Services and Commercial.
We work as an extension of our client’s team; we spend time understanding their goals and share in their vision assisting them to make informed decisions. You’ll be dependable, building relationships and fostering a positive, trusting team culture.
The person.
We are looking for an experienced effective manager, you will be an active listener, able to make the team feel heard, asking questions and giving feedback. You’ll provide clear, concise directions and expectations on tasks supporting with the allocation and delegating of responsibilities. As a manager you’ll be approachable, and empathetic, encouraging open communication, ensuring the team have the tools and support they need, you’ll be an advocate for their progression and professional growth, through training and mentoring.
You will lead by example setting the standard. You will offer constructive and timely feedback to help improve processes and performance.
Due to the nature of the role, it would be beneficial to be within traveling distance to the Ipswich office, to allow for face to face mentoring with your team at least on a weekly basis.

We operate a hybrid working model, where our team can choose to work from home, in the office, or a mixture of both. We come together twice a month for full agency days, and for team days.

- During this final stage interview there will be an interview task, which we will send across to you to review. Once reviewed we’ll organise the interview allowing enough time to prepare.
